Concept & Identity
Chai Archives — A Digital Design Studio
Chai Archives is my personal design studio — a curated space where branding, UI/UX, and visual storytelling intersect.
The project began as a way to centralize my design work under a cohesive identity rather than presenting isolated portfolio pieces. I wanted to create a studio presence that felt intentional, refined, and culturally aware.
The name “Chai Archives” reflects the idea of collecting, preserving, and presenting creative work as an evolving archive — not just projects, but ideas, systems, and visual narratives.
The challenge was to design a studio identity that feels elevated and editorial while still personal and expressive.
Visual Language & Experience
Minimal, Intentional, and System-Driven
The visual direction leans into clean typography, generous negative space, and a restrained color palette. The focus is on clarity and craft — allowing the work itself to take center stage.
Key design elements include:
Structured project layouts with strong hierarchy
Editorial-inspired typography
Refined spacing systems
Minimal UI to reduce distraction
Subtle interactions that add depth without overpowering the content
The interface avoids trend-heavy visuals. Instead, it prioritizes longevity and sophistication — positioning Chai Archives as a studio rather than a personal blog.
Each project page is treated like a case study spread, balancing visual presentation with concise context.

This project demonstrates my ability to think beyond visuals — designing cohesive brand systems that are flexible, scalable, and rooted in intentional structure.
Chai Archives represents the intersection of visual design, product thinking, and front-end execution — a studio built with both aesthetic clarity and technical precision.
